On Tuesday 4th February we were delighted to have two extra special visitors. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge came to visit Mumbles. Hundreds turned out to greet them, the streets were lined with lovely people keen to catch a glimpse of them, and we even managed to get a snap of them passing The Lovespoon Gallery.
First the Royals visited the RNLI lifeboat station at Mumbles Pier, they spoke to many of the crew members about their 24 hour services at sea.
They then stopped off for an ice-cream at the popular Mumbles venue Joe’s Ice Cream.
Mumbles really is a lovely place and we are so very happy that The Lovespoon Gallery is part of it.
We are very passionate about sharing the tradition of the Welsh Love spoon and Mumbles is the perfect place to display our beautiful collections.
